Appendix -- Modifying the sounds

You can modify the sounds  if you have a microphone that you can attach to your Mac.  (If you have older hardware you can still do it,  you need to read the instructions that come with whatever 3rd party recording add-ons and sound software you have.) The English sounds are named a,b,c,0,1, etc.  The Spanish sounds are named a_s, b_s, etc.  The program uses the names of the sounds so you will want to keep them the same.  It does no good to create sounds with new names, as Easy Writer will not do anything with them.
